Counselling, Wellbeing & Yoga in County Durham
We offer counselling, Yoga 121 and group sessions, workshops and day retreats for individuals, groups and businesses across County Durham.
We offer online therapy, home visits and walk and talk sessions in nature (eco therapy).
We also offer support and workshops for a range of mental health issues and wellbeing in the workplace.
What is Counselling?
Counselling provides a safe, impartial and confidential space in which to explore your feelings. Talking to a professional in a confidential setting, safe in the knowledge that what you say will be respectfully listened to, can help you understand why you are feeling a certain way and help you to work through and find a path forward.
It is not unusual to experience times when we feel overwhelmed and are struggling with a situation or way of being in our lives. Our emotions can affect all aspects of our lives and impact on our relationships with our families, friends and professionals lives. Seeing a counsellor when you are struggling to find a way forward with your difficulties may be of help.
Feelings such as anger, grief, anxiety and loneliness can be distressing and cause anguish, especially if they have been with us for a long period of time. Working with a counsellor can help you to explore these feelings and understand what is at the root of these feelings so you can work towards and find freedom from them.
